3LED Group is seeking a Technical Sales & Product Specialist to join our central sales and marketing organization supporting multiple brands across our lighting and photonics platform, including Fusion Optix, LEDdynamics, Prolume Lighting, LEDSupply, and Xico Lighting.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, highly organized, hardworking, and interested in developing a career at the intersection of technology, products, and technical sales. We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, communicates well with others, and brings both creativity and strong follow-through to their work.

The position will initially focus on supporting internal sales activities across multiple product lines and brands. Over time, the role is expected to expand into customer-facing applications support, technical quoting assistance, and broader technical sales responsibilities.

This is an opportunity to work across a wide range of LED, optics, electronics, and lighting technologies within a fast-moving and highly collaborative manufacturing and technology environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain technical product information across multiple 3LED Group brands and product lines.
  • Create and maintain datasheets, installation guides, specification documents, application notes, and related technical materials.
  • Coordinate product documentation updates, revisions, and technical change management activities.
  • Support product launches with accurate and complete technical documentation packages.
  • Help maintain consistency of product specifications, product codes, naming conventions, and technical information across systems and sales materials.
  • Support sales teams with product information, technical documentation, and customer requests.
  • Assist with product selection, technical inquiries, quoting support, and customer applications.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to improve product information workflows and organization.
  • Support website product content and technical marketing materials as needed.
  • Help improve internal product data organization, document workflows, and technical product systems.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales support, product support, applications support, documentation, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical products and specifications.
  • Interest in LED technology, optics, electronics, or lighting systems.
  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Outgoing personality with strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset.
  • Creative problem solver with strong follow-through and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Excel, ERP/CRM systems, or product databases preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings or CAD environments is a plus.
  • Lighting, electronics, industrial products, or related technical industry experience preferred but not required.
