3LED Group designs and manufactures innovative lighting, optical, and LED solutions through a portfolio of brands including Xico Lighting, FlexGrid, Prolume Lighting, Fusion Optix, LEDdynamics, and others.
As our manufacturing operations continue to grow, we are investing in quality as a core competitive advantage. We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who wants the opportunity to build and lead a modern quality organization across our assembly and manufacturing operations.
This is not a maintenance role. This is an opportunity to create systems, raise standards, develop people, and build a quality culture that supports premium products and exceptional customer experiences.
Position Summary:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the quality management systems and quality processes that support 3LED’s manufacturing operations.
This individual will establish quality standards, build inspection and testing programs, implement corrective action processes, develop SOPs and quality documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable on the production floor, working with suppliers, interacting with customers, and presenting quality metrics to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System:
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and standards
  • Establish SOPs, inspection plans, quality checklists, and control plans
  • Drive consistent execution of quality processes across manufacturing operations
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits as required
Manufacturing Quality:
  • Establish and improve incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes
  • Develop quality control methods for assemblies, electronics, mechanical components, and finished products
  • Implement effective containment and corrective action processes
  • Ensure recurring issues are systematically eliminated
Supplier Quality:
  • Develop supplier qualification and performance programs
  • Work directly with suppliers to address quality concerns and drive improvements
  • Establish incoming inspection criteria and supplier scorecards
Reliability & Compliance:
  • Build product reliability testing capabilities
  • Support UL, ETL, and other product compliance requirements
  • Develop testing protocols and validation procedures
  • Ensure quality and compliance requirements are incorporated into product development and manufacturing processes
Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and warranty costs
  • Develop meaningful quality metrics and management reporting
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Team Leadership:
  • Build and mentor a growing quality organization
  • Develop quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors
  • Create clear escalation paths and quality ownership throughout the organization
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Support teams

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 8+ years of manufacturing quality experience
  • 3+ years of quality leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or improving quality management systems
  • Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, process control, and quality metrics
  • Experience with supplier quality and incoming inspection programs
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in lighting, electronics, electrical products, or industrial manufacturing
  • ISO 9001 experience
  • Quality certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQM, or similar
  • Experience supporting UL, ETL, or other compliance programs
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
